FAQs

What do I need to have at the time of signing?

You need the document that needs to be notarized, the person(s) signing and a valid photo ID like Driver's license, Passport, Non- Driver ID, Military ID, or other government issued photo ID that has your signature. Also witnesses if needed.

What if the signer has no ID?

If the signer has no ID he/she needs a Credible witness. This person needs to be known to the signer and the Notary Public.

Unacceptable ID's

Social Security card, Nevada authorization card, Birth certificate, Restricted Driver ID, Voter ID, Credit cards. Those can be used only as secondary ID to verify the primary ID.

What happens If I am physically unable to sign?

No worries. You can direct a third party person to sign instead of you. This cannot be the Notary. Also you and the person signing for you must be present and with valid ID.
